About FundABLE

FundABLE is a new tool being developed by UNOPS, based on the Sustainable Infrastructure Financing Tool (SIFT) methodology developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford and used in Saint Lucia and Ghana, to support a structured approach to identifying potential sources of finance for financing an infrastructure project or national infrastructure pipeline. FundABLE can help bridge the gap between governments and infrastructure financiers to accelerate the implementation of infrastructure projects for sustainable, resilient and inclusive development.

FundABLE will support decision-makers to:

• Explore the financing landscape for infrastructure, including financiers’ geographic and sectoral coverage and financing modalities offered;
• Assess the financing readiness of projects to increase accessibility to a wide range of public and private financiers;
• Exploit new opportunities to build and strengthen relationships with infrastructure financiers;
• Strategically attract financing for infrastructure to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Agreement
